Pallet Support Bars
Pallet support bars, also called pallet rack cross bars, drop in across a pair of rack beams to carry a pallet where full wire-deck coverage is not required. All three styles here are the World XBar in 16 ga. four-corner roll-formed steel, and what separates them is how they meet the beam: one lays on top of it, one sits flush in a 1-5/8″ step, and one is cuffed for structural beams. As with wire decking, the beam usually makes the choice. The manufacturer publishes no load rating for the World XBar range, so if a bar is carrying load in your calculation, get the figure on the quote.
Which support bar fits your beams?
Hat style is the most cost-effective World XBar option. None of the three carries a published load rating, so ask for one on the quote if the bars are carrying load in your design.
