Warehouse Protection
Beyond the rack, the same forklifts threaten machinery, walkways, dock doors and people. Guard rail is specified by rated impact capacity, so the range runs from 5,000 lb lite duty for pallet trucks up to 13,000 lb heavy duty where a loaded counterbalance truck can reach the barrier at speed. Alongside it: bollards and wheel stops, guide and pedestrian rails, self-closing gates, and wire cages, partitions and fencing to close off the areas that need it.

Guard Rail & Barriers · 13View all 13 →
A bolted steel industrial guard rail that protects machinery, walkways, in-plant offices, personnel and inventory from forklift damage. Four-way posts are punched on all sides to build any barrier shape, and the system is powder coated safety yellow for maximum visibility.
- Post: 4-3/4″ × 4-3/4″ × 3/16″-thick, 42″ or 18″ high
- Footplate: 10″ × 10″ × 1/2″-thick with (4) 7/8″-dia. anchor holes
- Rail: 12″ high × 1/8″-thick, double-ribbed; 2′–10′ on post centers
- Impact rating: 12,000 lbs. at 4 mph
Heavy structural-steel angle rail that bolts flat to the floor to keep forklifts and AGVs on line down aisles and guide them safely into dock approaches, past walls, and along equipment runs. All-welded gussets and radiused entry curves deflect wheel contact and shield rack ends and structural legs from over-steer. Surface-mounted on regular anchor centers with no concrete work · powder-coated safety yellow.
- Rail: 5″-tall structural steel angle (also 3″×4″ / 4″×4″)
- Material: 5/16″-thick steel · ~8.4 lb/ft
- Standard lengths: 9.5 ft and 10 ft sections, coupled for continuous runs
- Install: Floor-anchored, holes on ~24″ centers; entry guide curves
A low barrier that mounts flush to the floor and stands 12″ tall, so forks and pushed product cannot slide under or through it. Use it as a wall guard, around conveyors and machinery, or as a pallet stop where a full-height guard rail is more than the job needs.
- Height: 12″
- Mounting: Flush to the floor
- Use as: Wall guard · conveyor and machine guard · pallet stop
The lightest tier of the drop-in guardrail range, rated by the manufacturer at 5,000 lbs at 5 mph. Built from 14-gauge steel on 4″ × 4″ posts with 8″ × 8″ × 1/2″ base plates, it is sized for electric pallet trucks, powered stackers, manual jacks and push carts rather than counterbalance forklifts. Rails drop into welded post sleeves and lift out again, so a damaged section is swapped without loose hardware.
- Impact rating: 5,000 lbs at 5 mph (manufacturer-stated)
- Rail: 14-gauge ribbed steel, 4 ft–10 ft in 1 ft increments
- Post: 4″ × 4″, 42″ high

A bolted structural guardrail in 13-gauge roll-formed steel to ASTM A1011 Grade 45, rated by the manufacturer at 10,000 lbs at 4 mph when properly installed. Unlike the drop-in systems it bolts rail to post through twin 12.5″ × 3″ mounting plates, which makes the joint itself load-bearing rather than relying on a sleeve. Rails span 12″ to 108″ centre-to-centre; double-rail columns are 44″ high on 10″ × 10″ × 1/2″ base plates.
- Impact rating: 10,000 lbs at 4 mph (manufacturer-stated)

A polymer bollard that flexes on impact and returns to shape, rather than resisting rigidly like a steel pipe. Because the material absorbs and dissipates the energy, far less of it is transferred into the slab and the anchors, which is what usually turns a hard strike on a steel bollard into concrete repair as well as bollard replacement. Rated to PAS 13, the traffic-management barrier standard, by impact energy rather than a lb-at-mph figure. Yellow and grey as standard, on an electrophoretic-coated base.
- Heights: 32-7/8″ · 47-1/4″ · 78-3/4″
- Material: Impact-absorbing polymer, flexes and rebounds
- Rated to: PAS 13 — 5,800 J, equivalent to 4.7 US ton at 4 mph
- Impact zone: 0–47-1/4″ (90° approach)
An 84″ bollard set into the slab rather than bolted to it, so the concrete itself resists the impact instead of four anchors in shear. That makes it the choice for exterior dock approaches, gate posts and yard traffic where a surface-mounted baseplate would shear off under a hard strike. Available in 5.5″, 6.5″ and 8.5″ outside diameters, in safety yellow or red, with a plastic cap and striped decal.
- Length: 84″ overall (buried depth per site conditions)
- Diameters: 5.5″ · 6.5″ · 8.5″ OD
- Install: Direct bury into slab — no baseplate or anchors
- Colours: Safety yellow or red
High-density polyethylene sleeves that drop over an existing bollard to restore high-visibility colour without repainting, and to stop rust bleeding onto the slab. Because they are plastic they do not chip or need masking off, which is why they are common in food and retail-facing areas where a repaint means downtime. Internal diameters of 4.5″, 7″, 8-7/8″ and 10-7/8″ cover the usual bollard sizes, in heights from 52″ to 72″.
- Material: Heavy-duty high-density polyethylene (HDPE)
- Internal diameters: 4.5″ · 7″ · 8-7/8″ · 10-7/8″
- Heights: 52″ · 60″ · 64″ · 72″

Building Column Protectors · 5View all 5 →
Blow-molded HDPE column guards that wrap around a building column in two halves and strap together with no tools, putting a highly visible barrier at the base of the column where forklifts and material handling equipment strike. They are sold as a lightweight, easy-to-install alternative to steel guarding, and because they strap on, they can be repositioned or replaced as the layout changes. The standard model is 42″ tall with a 24″ outside diameter, with square openings for 6″ to 12″ columns (which also fit round columns) and a 9″ round opening. A 24″ Short, a 6″ Slim and a Bolt Together model for 14″ to 18″ columns complete the range.

A curved steel guard, 16-1/2″ high, that bolts to the floor against a building column, drain pipe or other fixed equipment. It comes prefabricated, so there is no welding or cutting on site, and the anchors sit inside the curve out of the way of traffic. The maker recommends a set of four to cover all sides of a column.
- Height: 16-1/2″
- Mounting: Two 5/8″ internal holes · 1/2″ anchors, not included
- Coverage: Set of four recommended for all sides of a column
- Construction: Prefabricated steel, no on-site welding or cutting
A tight-fit polymer column guard for square and rectangular building columns. Interlocking corner sections and expansion panels close onto all four sides of the column with a minimal footprint, and a step at the base encloses the column’s base plate to shield its fixings. Each guard covers an impact height of 0 to 20-1/2″, and guards stack to reach any height. The maker positions it for light impacts and glancing blows, and rates it at 1,600 J at a 90° approach, which it equates to a 2 US ton vehicle at 3 mph.
- Fits: Square and rectangular columns · built to size from corner sections and expansion panels
- Impact height: 0–20-1/2″ per guard; stack guards for more height
- Maker rating: 1,600 J at 90° · equivalent to 2 US ton at 3 mph

A polymer guardrail built around a column rather than onto it. The rails are set apart from the column, so a strike is absorbed by the barrier and kept away from the structure. It fits columns of any size and section, square, rectangular, round or irregular, and can be supplied as a two- or three-sided unit for corner columns or columns against a wall. Rails and posts can be replaced in place without taking the rest of the guard apart. The maker rates the rail at 5,800 J at 90° on 59″ post centres, which it equates to a 2.5 US ton vehicle at 5 mph.
- Fits: Any column shape or size · full, two- or three-sided
